Welcome to Irvine High School. The transition through high school and into the future is exciting, complex, rewarding and filled with opportunity and hope.

 

Irvine High School (IHS) is founded in 1976, located in the city of Irvine, Orange County, California. Irvine High School is one of five comprehensive 4 year high schools in the Irvine Unified School District, with an enrollment of 1,916 including 480 seniors. The student population is diverse with over 20 native languages spoken. Our mission is to enable all students to become contributing members of the society, empowered with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to meet the challenges of a changing world, by providing the highest quality educational experience we can envision.

 

Irvine High School is proud to have received the California Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) Platinum level of recognition and California Gold Ribbon School. At Irvine High, PBIS is a framework or approach comprised of intervention practices and organizational systems for establishing the social culture, learning and teaching environment, and individual behavior supports needed to achieve academic and social success for all students.

 

The courses offered at Irvine High School are designed both to meet graduation requirements and to satisfy the eligibility requirements for college admission. At Irvine High School, emphasis is placed on helping students realize their individual interests, abilities, and special talents, while recognizing their personal and career goals. School wide our culture is founded on the values of Integrity, Honoring Self and Others and Social Responsibility for which the definitions have been defined by our students who also understand that these values are at the forefront of what it is to be an Irvine Vaquero.

얼바인 하이스쿨은 1976 년 캘리포니아 주 오렌지 카운티 얼바인 시에 설립되었습니다. 얼바인 하이스쿨은 얼바인 통합 교육구에 있는 5 개의 종합 4 년제 고등학교 중 하나이며 480 명의 졸업 예정자를 포함하여 1,916 명이 재학중입니다. 학생 인구는 20 개 이상의 모국어가 사용되어 다양합니다.

본교의 사명은 모든 학생들에게 상상할 수 있는 최고 수준의 교육 경험을 제공함으로써 변화하는 세상의 과제에 필요한 기술, 지식 및 가치를 갖춘 사회 구성원으로 기여할 수 있도록 하는 것입니다.

얼바인 하이스쿨은 California Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) 표창과 California Gold Ribbon School 수상을 자랑스럽게 생각합니다. 얼바인 하이스쿨의 PBIS 는 사회 문화, 학습 및 교육 환경, 그리고 모든 학생의 학업 및 사회적 성취를 달성하는 데 필요한 개별 행동 지원 확립을 위한 중재 실행 및 조직 시스템으로 구성되어 있습니다.

얼바인 하이스쿨에서 제공되는 과정은 졸업 요건과 대학 입학 자격 요건을 충족하도록 설계되었고 학생들의 개인 및 직업 목표를 인정하면서 개인의 관심사, 능력 및 특별한 재능을 실현하도록 돕는 데 중점을 둡니다. 학교 전체의 문화는 정직성, 자아와 타인 존중 및 사회적 책임의 가치에 기반을 두고 있으며 그 가치는 그것을 이해하는 우리 Irvine Vaquero 학생들에 의해 분명히 밝혀지고 있습니다.
