EDUCATION FAIR

Education Fair is an event for all school-aged students and families, providing lectures and information related to education. The purpose of this event is to bring resources and representatives in education-related fields while uniting the community in support of education. Over the past 8 years, this event has been widely attended by more than 4,000 attendees in partnership with over 50 corporate, community, and educational partners. For the past 20 years, IKPA has played an integral role in supporting the IUSD teachers through its fundraisers, professional development programs such as PACE (Program to Advance Cultural Education), and cultural exchanges.

 

얼바인 한인 학부모회 (IKPA)가 주최하는 교육 박람회는 모든 연령의 학생들과 가족들을 위해 교육과 관련된 다양한 강의와 정보를 제공하기 위한 행사입니다. 이 행사는 교육 관계 전문가들과 교육 자원을 나누면서 동시에 교육지원을 위한 커뮤니티의 통합을 목적으로 합니다. 지난 8년간 50 여개 이상의 업체들, 커뮤니티 파트너 및 교육 파트너들과 제휴하여 진행되어 왔으며, 4,000명 이상이 참가했습니다. 교육 박람회 행사 수익금은 PACE (Program to Advance Cultural Education) Korea프로그램 운영금으로 사용되며, 얼바인 교육구 공립 고등학교들에 기부됩니다.

IRVINE YOUTH MUSIC FESTIVAL

Irvine Youth Music Festival(IYMF) is an annual concert which showcases Korean student performers in Irvine to give back to the community through their talents and to become a part of the supporters for Irvine Unified School District. Since 2001, it takes place at the Northwood High School Performing Art Center every year and all performers are selected through the audition and given the certificate from the city. Proceeds will go to IPSF, supporting art and music classes in IUSD.

 

얼바인 유스 뮤직 페스티벌은 얼바인 한인 학생 공연자들이 지역 사회를 위해 재능 기부를 하기 위해 선보이는 정기 콘서트이며 얼바인 교육구의 후원자가 되는 것입니다. 2001년에 시작된 이 페스티벌은 매년 노스우드 하이스쿨 퍼포밍 아트센터에서 개최되며, 모든 공연자들은 오디션을 통해 선발되고 얼바인 시로부터 자격증이 수여됩니다. 얼바인 교육구 공립학교 아트 및 음악 수업을 후원하기 위한 이 행사의 모든 수익금은 모두 IPSF에 기부됩니다.

WELCOME TO IUSD

IKPA hosts Welcome to IUSD in the beginning of the school year for Korean families to learn about IUSD policies, education pathways, and to bridge the need of Korean families with parent and student engagements in IUSD.

 

한인 학부모회에서는 새학기가 시작되면 한인 가족들을 위해 Welcome to IUSD를 개최합니다. 한인 가족들에게 얼바인 교육구의 정책과 교육 방향에 대해 알리고, 얼바인 교육구의 학생과 학부모들이 원하는 바를 얼바인 교육구에 전달하는 교량 역할을 위한 행사입니다.

NETWORKING NIGHT FOR IUSD ALUMNI AND STUDENTS

IKPA organizes an annual networking night for IUSD alumni and students to provide mentoring opportunities for the students in IUSD.

 

졸업생들과의 네트워킹 나이트는 얼바인 교육구에 있는 한인 학생들에게 졸업한 선배들의 진로 멘토링을 제공하기 위해 졸업생들과 재학생들의 만남의 장을 제공합니다.

FAMILY NIGHT FOR INCOMING HIGH SCHOOL FRESHMAN FAMILIES

IKPA offers a family night for incoming high school freshman families, connects high school upper-class students with the incoming freshman students, and provides Q & A session for parents and students.

 

고등학교 신입생 가정을 위한 패밀리 나이트는 고등학교에 입학하는 한인 신입생들과 고등학교에 재학중인 고학년 학생들이 함께 하는 행사이며, 신입생 학부모님과 학생들을 위해 질의응답으로 진행됩니다.

SPEAKER SERIES

Speaker Series is a series of seminars in which a guest speaker is invited to speak on various topics of interest to parents and students in IUSD.

 

스피커 시리즈는 얼바인 교육구에 있는 한인 학부모님과 한인 학생들이 관심있어 하는 다양한 주제에 대한 전문가를 초대하여 강의를 진행하는 일련의 세미나입니다.

IRVINE GLOBAL VILLAGE FESTIVAL

IKPA participates in Irvine Global Village Festival, a citywide event hosted by the city of Irvine. We display a booth to share Korean culture and heritage to the community.

 

얼바인 글로벌 페스티벌은 얼바인 시에서 주최하는 시행사입니다. 얼바인 한인 학부모회는 한국 문화와 유산을 지역 사회에 알릴 수 있는 전시물을 전시합니다.

IRVINE KOREAN CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Irvine Korean Cultural Festival is a citywide event sponsored by OCKCC. IKPA displays a booth to showcase Korean culture and heritage to the community.

얼바인 코리안 컬처 페스티벌은 오렌지 카운티 한인 문화재단에서 후원하는 시행사입니다. 얼바인 한인 학부모회는 한국 문화와 유산을 지역 사회에 알릴 수 있는 전시물을 전시합니다.

IKPA VOLUNTEER COMMITTEE (IKPAVC)

IKPA has a volunteer committee that coordinates volunteer opportunities for Korean families and serves the needs of the community in Irvine on behalf of IKPA. IKPA is a certifying organization authorized to issue the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards for volunteer service with IKPA.

 

얼바인 한인 학부모회는 자원봉사 단체를 산하에 두고 있으며, IKPAVC는 얼바인 한인 학부모회를 대신하여 얼바인 지역 사회를 후원하고 한인 가족들에게 자원 봉사의 기회를 제공합니다. 얼바인 한인 학부모회는 대통령 봉사상을 신청할 수 있는 자격을 지닌 기관입니다.

IUSD KPAs

IKPA supports and collaborates with the Korean Parent Associations (KPAS) of Irvine High, Northwood High, Portola High, University High and Woodbridge High Schools and the Korean representatives in Middle and Elementary Schools in Irvine Unified School District.

 

얼바인 한인 학부모회는 얼바인 하이스쿨, 노스우드 하이스쿨, 포톨라 하이스쿨, 유니버시티 하이스쿨, 그리고 우드브릿지 하이스쿨의 한인 학부모회 및 얼바인 교육구의 초등학교와 중학교의 한인 대표들과 협력하고 있으며 후원하고 있습니다.
