Service Award

Award Eligibility
Hours are measured over a 12-month period (for annual Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards) and over a lifetime (for Lifetime Achievement Award*). The awards are designated based on cumulative hours.
They are offered on multiple levels and are designed to recognize each milestone of your service achievement. Levels include Bronze, Silver, Gold, and, the highest honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Along with the ultimate honor of the presidential recognition, recipients will receive: a personalized certificate; an official pin, medallion or coin; and a congratulatory letter from the President of the United States.
※ IKPAVC Presidential Volunteer Service Award Eligibility Requirements:
1. Must be a United States citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the United States (i.e. a green card holder).
2. Must attend at least 3 out of the 6 IKPAVC regular meetings.
3. Starting the 2025-2026 school year, only hours achieved within IKPAVC will be recognized (external hours will not be recognized).
4. IKPAVC Volunteer Hours and Certificate Hours received through events related to IKPA are recognized.
※ If there are any changes to the rules of the Presidential Service Award, IKPAVC Presidential Service Award rules may also change accordingly.
※ Objections at the time of application for the Presidential Service Award will NOT be accepted without prior inquiry.
※ IKPAVC 대통령 봉사상 신청 규정
1. 영주권자/시민권자에 한해 대통령 봉사상을 신청하실 수 있습니다.
2. 연간 6회 있는 IKPAVC 정규 미팅에 3회 이상 반드시 참석해야 합니다.
3. 2025-2026 부터는 대통령상 신청시 IKPAVC 봉사시간만 인정됩니다. (외부봉사시간 인정 불가)
4. IKPAVC 봉사 시간 및 IKPA와 관련된 행사를 통해 받은 Certificate Hours는 인정됩니다.
※ 미국 대통령 봉사상 규정이 변경될 경우, IKPAVC 대통령 봉사상 신청 규정도 변경될 수 있습니다.
※ 사전 문의 없이 대통령 봉사상 신청 시점에서의 이의제기는 접수되지 않습니다.
