Families Forward

Families Forward is a non-profit organization that serves local families from Tustin to San Clemente. They provide housing, food assistance, counseling, education, and other services to help families attain stability and self-sufficiency.

What do we do?

1. Package production: We volunteer in creating packages that Families Forward deliver to low-income individuals.

​

2. Making Thank You cards:  We make and donate handmade Thank You cards to those families who received help from Families Forward, so they can express their gratitude to people who have supported them. IKPAVC volunteers make about 1000 cards each year and deliver them to Families Forward.

3. Collecting Recyclables: We gather recyclable items such as plastic bottles, cans, glass bottles, and others, and deliver them as needed goods to Families Forward.

패밀리즈 포워드는 캘리포니아 주 터스틴에서 산클레멘트에 이르는 지역의 노숙자나 저소득층에 속하는 가정에 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 비영리 단체입니다. 주택, 식량 지원, 상담, 교육 등의 다양한 서비스를 제공함으로써 안정되고 독립된 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 돕습니다.

 

IKPAVC에서는 패밀리즈 포워드에서 주최하는 여러 서비스 중 세 가지 봉사에 참여하고 있습니다.

1. 패키지 제작: 패밀리즈 포워드에서 저소득층에 전달할 패키지를 제작하는 봉사를 합니다.

2. 감사 카드: 패밀리즈 포워드의 도움을 받은 가정에서 그들의 감사한 마음을 기부자들에게 전달할 때 사용할 카드를 만드는 일입니다. IKPAVC 봉사자들은 매년 1000장 정도의 카드를 만들어 패밀리즈 포워드에 전달합니다.

3. 재활용품 모으기: 패트병, 캔, 유리병 등을 재활용품을 모아 필요로 하는 물건으로 패밀리즈 포워드에 전달합니다.

 

봉사일시: 월 1회, 토요일 또는 일요일
