IKPAVC K-Buddy

​

The IKPAVC K-Buddy program targets K-8th grade students from Korean families in IUSD. IKPAVC Volunteers use their skills (learning/homework helpers, sports, music, art, etc..) to aid younger students: a mentor-mentee relationship.
IKPAVC volunteers are called Buddies, and younger students who receive volunteers are called Little Buddies, and matching buddies with little buddies are done by the K-Buddy leader.
When Buddy and Little Buddy are matched, face-to-face volunteering is done once a week, for a month.

Please refer to the K-Buddy leader's emails that are sent every month for application and detailed information about Buddy service, and if you are selected as a Little Buddy, you will receive a personal notification mail.

 IKPAVC K-Buddy 프로그램은 IUSD내 한인가정의 K~8학년 학생들을 대상으로 IKPAVC 학생들이 각자의 Skill(학습/숙제도우미, 운동, 음악, 미술, 기타..)을 이용하여, 한인이민가정의 선배로서 동생들에게 다정한 형/언니/오빠/누나가 되고자 봉사하는 프로그램입니다.

 IKPAVC 봉사자는 Buddy로, 봉사를 받는 동생들은 Little Buddy로 불리게 되며, Buddy와 Little Buddy 매칭은 K-Buddy 리더가 합니다.

 Buddy와 Little Buddy가 매칭이 되면, 주 1회, 최소 1개월 단위로 대면 봉사가 이루어집니다.

 

 Buddy 봉사에 대한 신청 및 자세한 내용은 매월 발송되는 K-Buddy 리더 메일을 참조하시고, Little Buddy로 선정이 되시면 개인적으로 안내 메일이 발송됩니다.
